the cabinet The Secretaries (heads) of each Department of the Monarchy make up the Dikanian Cabinet. They act as advisors to the Emperor and oversee all the workings of their respective departments. The six departments are:
the Executive Office Building
The Executive Office Building was constructed in 2004 in order to give Cabinet members private and more efficient places to work. Justice and Foreign Affairs have office suites on the first floor, along with the building's service offices: Security and Reception. A white marble staircase leads from the foyer to the second floor, where the secretaries of Defense, Science and Technology, the Treasury, and the Interior have their offices. The remaining space on the second floor is allotted to the Military Information Office, the Defense Department's Office of Tactics and Strategy, and a conference room available to anyone in the building. the Irregular Pentagon Until the construction of the Executive Office Building (2004), Cabinet members made do with desks in one half the Irregular Pentagon (right side), while Coland Ops occupied the other half (left side). Starting from the top right and working counterclockwise, the secretaries shown in this picture are Secretary Mechanic, Secretary Tightwad, Secretary Nemis, Secretary Star, and Secretary Frome. Also sharing this office space were the Coland Tourism Desk, two unassigned army officers, and a displaced Gungan. The Irregular Pentagon was dismantled after the EOB was finished. Coland Ops moved to renovated space in the National Defense Office, Cabinet members and other DoD personnel moved to the EOB, and Coland Tourism moved to Coland Plaza, once constructed, where the Gungan also found employment. Materials from the Irregular Pentagon were recycled into the EOB, Coland Plaza, and the Coland Institute for Science and Technology. |
