The Constitution Diking's Constitution is a living document, ratified in 1996 to ensure democratic government and changed now and again over the years as the citizens discover how government may best work. Although Diking is highly technologically advanced, Parliament has kept the Constitution as its one entirely handwritten document. The links below are to the Constitution in full, with amendments, as well as drafts of some later amendments as they came through Parliament and were ratified. There is also a 'condensed' version of the Constitution, in which obsolete portions of the original document have been replaced with passages from the appropriate amendments in order to give a clear picture of how the government operates today.
