Old Air City

This page is a tribute to the great metropolis that was Air City.  Air City was abandoned and dismantled to make more living room for an ever growing giant and his computer hobby.  Before that time, however, Air City was the pinnacle of metropolitan cityhood.   The Royal Archives recently recovered and imaged some analog photographs of Air City in its heyday, although not yet at its largest size.  We are unsure when these pictures were taken.  They reinforce, however, what an awesome city Air City was.  The paved roads and large public parks found in the city have yet to be built anywhere else in the Empire.  With hindsight, the day Air City was disbanded was perhaps the most tragic in the history of Diking.

Here is a great shot of Air City proper.  On the left is the airport, the finest in Diking.  On the right is the police station, which the town was very proud of.  Also a source of considerable pride was the city park located in the center.  This area added beauty and tranquility to the bustling metropolitan area.  Also of note are the fire station and hospital.

A good but unfocused view of the city. Visible are the beach and harbor, air port, hospital, police station, fire station, and park. In the backgroud are the raceway and the home of the then Viceroy, Joel Orge. The Honorable Mr. Orge is now the Minister of Science and Technology.
